Lillian Howe is a young, American-born writer working on her debut trilogy of high fantasy. She was a student of English and writing at university and now teaches humanities and biology. She currently lives in a remote, green, river-filled farmland in the southern United States, where she is crafting the first book in her trilogy.
Lillian’s heart has always been inclined towards story and language—specifically the way story magnifies the immense depth of meaning found in the human experience. She believes wholeheartedly in writing as a way to uphold that which is real through remembrance. She seeks to ask the deeper questions the human heart hungers for, aiming for every word of poetry and prose to act as an invitation to step heart-first into The Great Dance before it is too late.
After all, the curtains have been drawn for a long time now.
Coincidentally being named after the Lily of the Valley, she aims to be a contributing voice to those singing “Look up! Look up!” from the valley of Mankind.
Until the Brighter Days—
The curtains have been drawn for a long time now;
with two left feet we all dance in circles beneath the bell tower.
Who is paying attention at the first ring of truth?
